About Me

Yes, I am that friend, you know the one, the one who always interested in meeting the dogs, or wants to go see the horses, or whatever animals are around. At a recent dog show, I was sitting on the floor with one of the youngest dogs in our group. One of our friends walked by and started laughing hysterically. When she quit laughing, she said..... "every time I see you, you are on the floor petting the dogs". And she is right. I am the friend who sits on the floor with your dog. I sit in the floor with my dogs!

So how did I get started with dog photography? Like many photographers, I have loved taking pictures. My girls grew up with me taking pictures of them and my passion for scrapbooking preserve the family memories. My husband nurtured my quest to gather photography equipment. He likes having nice pictures of our girls and my joy of photography. I took pictures of my girls in their sports and whatever was going on. My friends encouraged me to continue. So I did. Then, when Sarah started showing dogs, I took my camera and took pictures all day. Talked to my friends about what was good and more importantly, what NOT to show.
